August 26 is marked as Women’s Equality Day across the globe. In 1971, the date was chosen by the U.S. Congress to honor the 19th Amendment to the Constitution back in 1920 – it was the day women were finally allowed to vote. Today, women’s equality is promoted by numerous organizations campaigning for equal education and employment opportunities for women and stereotyping among others. One such organization that has continuously supported and celebrated women is Keds.

The group includes Allison Williams, award-winning singer Ciara, and Grammy-nominated breakout musical artist Tori Kelly, and other illustrious members from the fashion, music, art, and technology sectors.
The brand is known for its classic White Champion sneakers which became a staple sneaker for women all over the world. Some of the known industry trailblazers who have worn the White Champion sneakers are Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Jackie O, Yoko Ono, and Taylor Swift.
