Will we be expecting mad love?
Apparently, after years of feuding with each other, Taylor Swift and Katy Perry have finally and officially made up. Katy recently posted a photo on her official Instagram that showed a plate of cookies with “peace at last” written on it in icing. She topped off the post by typing “feels good” together with a heart emoji while tagging Taylor.
A little over a year ago, Katy sent Taylor a literal olive branch in the hopes of making peace. It took a whole year for it to come into fruition but it seems like they have finally achieved enough peace to post about it on their social media!
No one really knows the true story behind the rift between the two singers. Some say it was because they had a common ex-boyfriend (John Mayer) while others claimed it was just competition between two big pop stars.

Fans and various sources claimed that the biggest reason for their feud, however, was a misunderstanding and lack of communication between the two during their respective world tours years ago. Apparently, Taylor employed some of Katy’s backup dancers for her tour and when Katy started her own tour, some of them wanted to go back to her.
It was all a bit of a mess but the tension between them has slowly died down since then. We’re glad to see that the two pop icons have made up recently!
