Well-loved couple KathNiel just dropped the news that they are finally making their comeback to television next year!
According to an article on PEP, Kathryn Bernardo revealed the project during a thanksgiving party with her family, friends, and fanbase last September 22, 2019.

“Next year, babalik na kami. Excited kami!” Kath had said.
(“Next year, we’re coming back. We’re excited!”)
To answer why it’ll take that long before they make their much-awaited onscreen return, Kath explained that she and Daniel Padilla needed time to rest and recharge so that they can be able to put their all in the project. Despite this, she promised KathNiel fans that the teleserye will be worth the wait.
“Gagandahan po namin, so next year will be a good year for KathNiel. Mag-ready po tayong lahat,” she added.
(“We’ll make it amazing, so next year will be a good year for KathNiel. Let’s all get ready for it.”)

She also shared that they have something else hidden up their sleeves that they can’t talk about yet.
“May surprise kami ni DJ sa inyo, maybe next month. Basta… my God! Excited ako! Malalaman din ninyo iyon!” she gushed.
(“DJ and I have another surprise for you all, maybe next month. My God! I’m excited! You’ll find out eventually.”)
