When it comes to our canine companions, we never think twice about spoiling them with life’s greatest pleasures—be it a comfy bed, yummy treats, or a monthly trip to the groomers.
My favorite method of spoiling my own pet is by making her look as fashionable as possible, and I’ve fortunately learned that it doesn’t take much to do so; sometimes, even just choosing the right leash and collar can make your pup stand out from the crowd!
Katha Co.’s line of dog collars and leashes, in particular, is one of the prettiest ones I’ve discovered online and I just have to share it with you all.
Katha Co. is a local brand that specializes in creating everyday items from vegan leather. Current co-owned by Kristel Tariman and Edward Mangahis who took over the business from a close friend, Katha Co.’s goal is to make gifting much more personal.

Among all the items they’ve put on sale on their website, it’s not much of a wonder why their collection for pets is a best-seller. Called The Everyday Collar and Leash, this two-in-one product ticks all of the boxes in my checklist: it’s locally made, can be personalized, and is offered in a wide range of colors you can choose from to match your pet’s looks.
I particularly love that the collar is adjustable and that the leash features a nifty poop bag holder attachment. The set also comes in Katha Co.’s signature silk pouch, making it easy to keep the collar and leash at home when not in use. Right now, Katha Co. offers its collars in two sizes: XS-S and S-M. To make it easier for you to compare, our Pomeranian Shih Tzu (pictured below) is nearly a year old and wearing the size S-M collar.
We also got ours in Lavender but you can also choose among the other colors available: Baby pink, Sky blue, Yellow, Olive, Tan, Beige, and Red!
“We launched our pet collection to create a collar and leash that’s personalized, stylish, and functional. Along with the color options that we saw available in the market for leather collars and leashes, we wanted to have a fun take to it so we decided vegan leather was the way to go,” said Kristel.
