Actress and TV show host Karylle is making waves in the Asian television scene.
It has been announced a couple of months ago that Karylle was taking a break from her hosting gig at noon time show It’s Showtime to film her new Asian series Private Investigator, which is based in Singapore. The drama series is a project of Mediacorp Channel 5, one of Singapore’s leading television networks.
Karylle isn’t a stranger to the Singaporean viewers, though. This is the actress’ third project in the country. She’s formerly starred in the musical drama show Kitchen Musical which also stars Filipino singer Christian Bautista and in action drama series Point of Entry.
In Private Investigator, Karylle will play the role of Maia, a pole dancer and single mother struggling to provide for her son. Watch the show’s preview here:
