Justin Bieber launched his own Crocs and we don’t know how to feel

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic may have hogged the spotlight of this chaotic 2020, but there are also a few wild trends that have come and gone. Even while in quarantine; we’ve seen the weird, the wild, and the wacky. Take, for example, the Mi Goreng ice cream, sushi cereal, and the latest trend to hit the scene: Justin Bieber’s crocs… as cake!

Just kidding. What we aren’t joking about, however, is the debut of Justin Bieber’s newest collection with Crocs.

Recently, footwear brand Crocs teamed up with the Canadian singer to release his take on their products. They’re basically yellow rubber clogs with eight custom charms—called “Jibbitz”—that can be added to the footwear. It’s bright, it’s comfy… and it’s Crocs.

“As an artist, it’s important that my creations stay true to myself and my style. I wear Crocs all the time, so designing my own pair came naturally,” Bieber said in a statement on CNN. “With these Crocs, I just focused on making something cool that I want to wear.”
Although some people may have a love-hate relationship with the brand, Crocs seems to be making a comeback this 2020 with a series of collaborations—from the KFC-themed Crocs to a glow-in-the-dark version in partnership with trap artist Bad Bunny. And we’re expecting more to come.
The Justin Bieber Crocs will be sold for $59.99 (around PHP2,920), though there’s still no update as to whether they will be available here in the Philippines.
