After 12 Years, Juancho TriviƱo Finally Graduates From College

It may have taken him over a decade, but 27-year-old actor Juancho TriviƱo is proud to announce that he has finally finished his studies at the De La Salle University and officially earned his degree in entrepreneurship.

It was on Sunday, January 17, when he commemorated his achievement with his new graduation photo.

“Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship Juan Carlo TriviƱo. Graduate batch 2020,” he introduced himself as on his post. “Finally! I graduated!!”

He then shared his story as well as a number of pictures he took when he first started college 12 years ago.

“I started college 2009, as you can see iba pa itsura ko (I look different), [and] not only that [but] may malaking box pa yung mga monitor ng mga computer (the computer monitors still have a big box),” he began. “I stopped midway to pursue my acting career. [A] couple of years after I decided to go back, to against all odds finish my degree in DLSU as a cross enrollee from DLSU-STC.”

He shared that he wanted to finish what his parents “worked so hard” for him to get into, after realizing “that life is not one dimensional.” He then became a “working student” and tried his best to balance his schooling and his shootings.

“I became a working student going to class with no sleep and drinking vendo coffee to keep me awake and balance my sheets,” he said. “Nagkakaroon din ng mga pagkakataon na galing Pangasinan dederecho ako sa school galing ‘Unang Hirit’, at kung late na late na, nag-aankas ako. (There are also instances when I come from Pangasinan and head straight to school from ‘Unang Hirit,’ and if I’m running really late I would ride a motorcycle.)”

“After 12 years, natapos din, kahit via Zoom lang ang graduation ko after all those years of waiting – Gusto kong i-alay to sa Diyos at sa magulang ko (After 12 years, I finally finished, even though my graduation was just via Zoom after all those years of waiting. I want to offer this success to God and to my parents),” he continued. “I also want to encourage others, thereā€™s always [a] rainbow after the rain. It might not be the ideal time for me but God has his perfect time for us.”

“On to the next challenge!” he ended his post.

Juancho is currently married to Joyce Pring and will soon be celebrating their first wedding anniversary in February.
