Months after their controversial breakup due to cheating allegations, Pinoy rapper and member of hip-hop group Ex Battalion, King Badger, and his former partner, model-actress Jelai Andres, just had a surprise reunion!
It was during YouTube vlogger Zeinab Harake’s Meet and Greet when King Badger (real name Jon Gutierrez) made his appearance to reunite with Jelai. The former couple joked around and teased each other, delighting plenty of JoLai fans in the crowd. Videos of the moment were immediately uploaded online which made people think that the two are ready to rekindle their romance.
However, Jelai and Jon took to social media to clarify the status of their relationship.
According to Jelai, the two of them are civil but they have no plans of getting back together.
“Mi loves, hindi po nagkabalikan ang JoLai. We are cool po, ok kami pero sa ngayon wala pa talagang comeback. Title lang [ng] mga nag-popost yan syempre para iview niyo mga post nila. Clickbait,” she said.
[“My loves, JoLai is not getting back together. We are cool, we’re okay, but right now there is no comeback. That’s just the title of whoever’s posting the video because they want you to view their posts. It’s clickbait.”]

Jon also debunked the rumor but stayed hopeful about its possibility.
“Wala pa pong ganun. Pero sana may ganun… Pero at least namiss din niya ako ‘di ba?” he said.
[“There’s no comeback. But I wish there was. But at least she missed me, right?”]

Jelai and Jon tied the knot in late 2018. However, their marriage ended on a sour note after Jelai posted an emotional video accusing Jon of cheating on her with Toni Fowler. Although Jon never commented on the issue, he did make a music video pleading to Jelai for forgiveness.
