Finally, after an almost five-year hiatus from showbiz, the Box Office King is back to steal hearts and make us cry once again under Maja Salvador’s talent agency, Crown Artist Management! Maja teased his comeback with a three-part video on her Instagram profile before revealing the news through official photos on the agency’s account.
“We are happy to share with you the CAMback of the one and only John Lloyd Cruz, now under Crown Artist Management,” the account said.

The 37-year-old actor last starred in the 2017 film “Finally Found Someone” with Sarah Geronimo before taking an indefinite break to focus on his personal affairs. He and his then-girlfriend, Ellen Adarna, welcomed their son, Elias, in 2018.
He has since made a few appearances in movies and television, namely an advertisement for a local shawarma franchise and a cameo in the 2019 film “Culion.” He is also set to star in “Servando Magdamag” directed by Lav Diaz and written by Ricky Lee. He also sat down with host Boy Abunda last November to open up about why he took his long leave of absence from the entertainment scene.
It is still unknown what his comeback projects will be but we are definitely looking forward to them!
