The Jewelmer Gala 2013 Finale, designers onstage
On October 15, Jewelmer Joaillerie welcomed over 750 luminaries, leaders, and friends at the second annual Jewelmer Gala held at the NBC Tent for the launch of its Spring/Summer Collection 2014, a show of South Sea pearl jewelry in all its incarnations. There were masks, pearl-studded dresses, capes, and even show-stopping headpieces.

The theme, “l’accessoire dans tous ses états” (“the accessory in all its states”), revealed the importance of accessories in a woman’s wardrobe, the pieces that enhance and complete a woman’s style. “Jewelry is the highest form of accessory, and we want to bring the power and impact of accessories in all our creations to the center of the public consciousness,” says Creative Director Gaelle Branellec, “Playing with the sensuality of the five senses, we present our collections with the rarest pearls on earth.”

While they had already made their international debut in Hong Kong and Moscow, the Charleston, Guimard, Madame de Pompadour, C’est la Vie collections were formally launched on this evening. Together with the sumptuously expanded Tropics, Rosone, Petite Fleur, Dolce Rosa, and Via Rosa, they completed Jewelmer Joaillerie’s Spring/Summer Collection 2014.

Inspired by the nine collections by Jewelmer Joaillerie are the creations of designers including including Rhett Eala, Patrice Ramos Diaz, Randy Ortiz, Ivarluski Aseron, JC Buendia, Francis Libiran, Albert Andrada, Jojie Lloren, and Jun Escario in a grand show by Saga’s Robby Carmona.

My favorite part of the show was the finale, accomplished with video mapping: overlaying light over a dress to cause it to magically transform. It was a stunning display and very special way to end the night. Here is a partial video, courtesy of Viva Andrada.
The purveyor of fine South Sea pearls also celebrated the success of the world’s first jewelry co-branded MasterCard with the Jewelmer Joaillerie Platinum Mastercard powered by PNB Allied Bank. Clients, who were able to sign up at the event, look forward to curated benefits and premium services for to fit their lifestyles. International guests were chauffeured in by Jaguar. Moet Hennessy ensured that every glass was always full of Belvedere and Grand Marnier, while a delectable gourmet spread by Margarita Fores awaited guests after the show.
