Jess & Pat’s is back with food, music, and art at Maginhawa

Live music, arts, and homemade comfort food – all these and more are found in Jess & Pat’s. As it opened in September 2016, it fulfilled a far greater purpose than being a thesis requirement: Jess & Pat’s became an avenue for passionate artists to freely express themselves.

Since then, Jess & Pat’s existed to be more than just a cafe that delivers its promise of serving honest burgers and chicken wings, it embraced supporting the local independent scene. After a year, it has produced its own shows and became the home of some productions and organizations. Food, music, arts, and good company – all the good things in one indie cafe.

On February 10, Jess & Pat’s will be having a re-opening gig, “MAGINHAWA: Jess & Pat’s Comeback Party,” at its new home: 63 Maginhawa Street, Diliman, Quezon City. Exciting performances from local bands are in store for the soft opening! Wanderland’s Wanderbattle 2018 finalist Carousel Casualties and the UP Fair Cosmic Battle of the Bands winner Any Name’s Okay are included in the list of performers. One Click Straight’s funky rock and pop grooves will make you dance while alternative rock band There’s Era will make you fall in love with their songs. Earl Generao, who took the second spot in Spotify’s Philippines Viral 50, will also serenade us with his songs with new rising performers, Max Javelino and Garage Morning. Moreover, visual artists Camivore and Qwark will be treating the crowd with a live art session.
