A remake of the classic horror film Dracula is officially coming with Karyn Kusama, known for directing cult movie Jennifer’s Body, helming it!
According to an exclusive by The Hollywood Reporter, the remake will be a modern retelling of the iconic character. Not much else has been revealed other than it being produced under Jason Blum’s studio Blumhouse Productions which has given life to a number of beloved horror and thriller movies like the Paranormal Activity franchise and The Purge.
Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay, both of whom have worked with Kusama previously, will be penning the script.
There’s no doubt that we’re looking forward to seeing what this new Dracula movie will have in store for us. But with details still scarce, all we can do is wait and keep our eyes peeled for updates!
