The Thor gang really brought their game at the Marvel panel for San Diego Comic-Con last July 20. Director Taika Waititi was joined on stage by Chris Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, and Natalie Portman who will all be returning to reprise their roles as Thor, Valkyrie, and Jane Foster respectively. However, during their time on stage, Taika revealed that the brand new movie is going to introduce the Mighty Thor comic storyline to the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
For those who don’t know what that’s about, the Mighty Thor comic arc follows Jane Foster as the Goddess of Thunder, wielder of the Mjolnir, Thor herself. As the title suggests, Thor: Love and Thunder is going to have so much love and a hell of a lot of thunder.
Chris Hemsworth shared with the Comic-Con crowd that none of them has read the script yet since Taika hasn’t given it to them. Meanwhile, Tessa Thompson also revealed that as the new King of Asgard, Valkyrie is looking for a queen. Thor: Love and Thunder is set to come out in November 2021.
