Sunday, for me, is the most relaxing day of the week. It’s the day when you have cozy family lunch outs or quiet barkada dinners. A Sunday may be  all you need to complete a week full of work or school, a day to unwind and spend your time with people you cherish the most.
So if you’re out of ideas of where to bring the folks or the gang this Sunday, I suggest you go eat at J. Cuppacakes, where the offerings will make every visit the best.
Little girls and girly ladies will instantly love the cute, pink interiors of J. Cuppacakes’ shop. But all folks will surely love the food too, which are all specially artsy. Thus their tagline, “Art in your cravings,” as you’ll crave not only for their yummy dishes and treats, but also for the visual feast.
The food here are not only delicious, but heart-warming, too. It’s homey comfort food that will remind you of that exciting feeling of opening your lunchbox at school. Or your family picnic grub on the weekends. Their cupcakes, on the other hand, are best for all those with a sweet tooth–it’s a light feel in your mouth, yet yummy and rich in taste, too.

Who doesn’t love warm, filling brekkie? We tried the Twice-Cooked Chicken and Pork Adobo. We love how it’s like eating your mom’s specialty, with the right mix of salty-sour taste. The meat, both chicken and pork, are tender and easy to bite. Served with hard-boiled eggs and a happy siding of heart-shaped rice.
Also a kiddie favorite, we had the best-selling Champ-o-rado, served with tuyo and vinegar. J. Cuppacakes version of champorado is fruity without losing the core of it being champorado. Two-thumbs up!
My personal favorite, though, is the Hot Flippys. For me, the best breakfast is a breakfast with a stack of fluffy pancakes. And what’s more to love about the their pancakes is it’s heart-shaped (I’m such a sucker for cute things). We topped three pieces of Hot Flippys with blueberry, but you can opt for their other flavors too!
For other rice meals, they have plenty to select from, too! We tried the Beef Morcon, one of the bestsellers. It is saucy, packed  of flavors and, yes, homey.
They also have pasta for those who prefer non-rice meal. The Spaghetti Bolognese is generous on meat with bits of carrots! Kids will surely love this!
Pesto is love. So J. Cuppacakes’ Creamy Grilled Chicken Pesto is a no-brainer. Also one of my favorites.
For coffee drinkers, take delight on their coffee offerings! For those who prefer juices and frappes though, they also have other options for you.

The Birthday Cupcake is perfect for, what else? Your birthday! Light tangy lemon cupcake with sweet frosting will tickle your taste buds.
Being a huge dessert lover, I must say the Brazo de Mercedes cheesecake is the bomb! The baked meringue on top is not super sweet, plus the cheesecake is just incredibly good.
