Have you ever wished your life was as sunny and as perfect as a rom-com? That’s the premise of this upcoming movie on Netflix entitled ‘Isn’t It Romantic’. The hilarious trailer was released today, showing the life of New York City architect Natalie (Rebel Wilson), who works hard to get noticed at her job, but is more likely to be asked to deliver coffee and bagels than to design the city’s next skyscraper.
If things weren’t bad enough, Natalie, a lifelong cynic when it comes to love, has an encounter with a mugger that renders her unconscious, waking to discover that her life has suddenly become her worst nightmare—a romantic comedy—and she is the leading lady. Watch the trailer here:
‘Isn’t It Romantic’ also stars Liam Hemsworth as Blake, Natalie’s handsome client; Adam DeVine as her earnest best friend, Josh; and Priyanka Chopra as yoga ambassador Isabella. I always thought living in a rom-com would be fun, but if it’s all PG-13 with nothing but fast-forwarded scenes with Liam Hemsworth, I might have to rethink everything. :p
