“iCarly” is officially getting a series revival on the Paramount+ (currently known as CBS All Access) streaming service with Miranda Cosgrove, Nathan Kress, and Jerry Trainor all set to return. It’s unknown what prompted the service to bring back this iconic show from the late 2000s and what it’s going to be about, but the news has so far been met with excitement from fans all over the world.

“iCarly” follows a trio of friends, Carly, Sam, and Freddie, who create a popular webshow and go through tons of wacky adventures as they attempt to balance their teenage life and their growing Internet fame. Sadly, it seems that Jennette McCurdy, who portrayed the tough and candid Sam, won’t be reuniting with the main cast for it.

The revival series will be produced by Jay Kogen and Ali Schouten instead of original creator Dan Schneider who was dropped by Nickelodeon in 2018 after being exposed for alleged abusive behavior. It is set to premiere in 2021.

We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for future updates.
