The K-12 system has been implemented in the Philippines for a few years now but it is still considered quite a recent change to the educational system in the Philippines. One of its major changes is adding the senior high school (SHS), comprised of grades 11 and 12, where students must choose their preferred strands. This often proves to be an additional challenge to incoming SHS students as they now have to make a major decision for their future. This can be a daunting task for teens who are about to enter SHS so here’s a quick and easy guide to help them decide on what strand suits them best!
