Get ready to Chase The Dawn and experience astounding performances as The Voice of the Youth Concert Committee, in partnership with WhenInManila, invites everyone to this year’s Xavier School Variety Show: Horizons, happening this January 26, 2019 from 5 pm-10:30 pm at the Xavier School Sports Center.
Xavier’s Voice of the Youth Concert Committee (VoYC) is a student-led initiative dedicated to amplifying the current generation’s voices through the annual Xavier Variety Show. For years, the show has featured some of the country’s best talents as a platform to raise awareness and funds for various advocacies and beneficiaries.
This year, Horizons marks the biggest and most spectacular show yet with the theme “The Youth is Limitless.”
Horizons‘ homegrown performers include Xavier’s award-winning Dance X, as well as its very own Singing Ensemble, which gathers some of the most talented singers from various high schools around Metro Manila in an unforgettable performance. Last but not least, the Fashion Show features students from schools all around the city hitting the runway as they show us what it means to be “Limitless.”
Horizons will also feature renowned artists such as Ben&Ben, Claudia Barretto, Autotelic, and Never The Strangers plus performers such as El Gamma Penumbra, Junior New System, Legit Status, and Lolo Pedro Lachica, who will bring on never before seen performances that will make for a night to remember.
VoYC has committed to donating proceeds of the show to advocacies such as WorldVision, an international humanitarian organization which has empowered millions of children suffering from prejudice and poverty through the opportunity of education and its constant welfare efforts worldwide. Proceeds will also go to the Alay Kapwa Foundation, which has continuously dedicated itself to providing aid to those affected by natural and human-caused calamities in the Philippines as well as its initiatives for disaster risk reduction.
Tickets will be priced at PHP 350 and can be purchased at the committee’s booths on the day of the show as well as from it’s Student Ambassadors.
