Home Crest Residences: Your Eco-friendly Best Value Hotel in Davao City

Davao City is the largest and most progressive city in the Southern part of the Philippines. It is home to Mt. Apo, the country’s tallest peak, and the Philippine Eagle, one of the largest and most powerful eagles in the world. It also has some of the best shopping malls, restaurants and hotels, making it one of the top vacation destinations in the country.

I have been to this bustling city several times and have stayed at different hotels both for work and leisure. During my latest visit in the Durian Capital of the Philippines, I stayed at Home Crest Residences, a three-storey boutique hotel conveniently located right across SM City Ecoland’s Tulip Drive entrance.

Home Crest Residences is owned by Globalcrest Properties, Inc. and is managed by one of the owners, Elizabeth Teves. It was interesting to know that Ms. Teves used to have rooms for rent in her own house along 6th Street within the same vicinity as the hotel property, which she called “The Residences”. Realizing that the property’s proximity to SM City will generate a high demand for hotel services for Davao’s tourists, the company established Home Crest Residences along Tulip Drive and Walnut Avenue last August 28, 2010.
