The Henry Hotel is every hipster’s wet dream. This 38-room hotel in Cebu houses Mark Luzon’s stunning murals and effortlessly merges pop art and comfort in one roof. Each floor, each room, each corner is different from another, and is practically a masterpiece. Brimming with sophistication, imagination and interesting stories, The Henry Hotel is not just a chic hotel; it’s a museum in my book.
My Carmen San Diego inspired room – the well thought-out details, the scrumptious Filipino breakfast, the luxurious pool, the outstanding staff and the awesomeness of it all won my heart. I spent half the day admiring this place and the other half not wanting to leave my cushy bed, which I think makes it the perfect staycation spot, or even a base for your Cebu adventures.
Every turn in this character-filled hotel is a surprise and a visual delight!
The idea that no two rooms look the same makes each room special and in a way, made my stay special, too. The Henry Hotel definitely lives up to its tagline “like no other” – not only when it comes to its guest suites, but with its superb service, hospitality and style.
If you’re an Instagrammer (which, come on, everyone is now), The Henry Hotel will blow your mind, but without blowing your budget! Everything about this hotel is aces until I sadly had to leave all of the cool art behind, including these Alice in Wonderland chairs that I have grown to love.
