Heart Evangelista, dog rescue team surprise homeless man with a house

Heart Evangelista gave a homeless man with his own house on December 1, weeks after she met him along Gilmore Avenue in Quezon City.

Evangelista met Kuya Jun on November 18 while she was looking for her own dog Casper that went missing. Kuya June was eating with some dogs in front of a closed establishment then.

She has already found Casper with the help of many people on social media.

Evangelista teamed up with PAWSsion Project to give Kuya Jun and dogs their own home. PAWSsion Project is a Bacolod-based nonprofit organization that rescues and rehabilitates dogs.

Evangelista shared about this surprise on her IG story.

PAWSsion Project also posted about this on social media. They accompanied their post with photos of Kuya Jun with home appliances and a short video of him in tears after seeing his new home.

Today was totally a happy, emotional, heartwarming and life changing day as we officially welcomed Kuya Jun and his dogs to the shelter. HOMELESS NO MORE! ❤️? He had the simplest wishes, just a place where he can be with his dogs, and clothes he can use to go to church. We were all in tears when he cried for joy seeing his home and everyone else at the shelter giving him the warmest welcome. He said, everyday, he prays for a home for him and his dogs and we thank God for using all of us as His instruments. Thank you @iamhearte for helping us give him a home. It was all because of you that we now have this amazing new member of our family. God really is amazing to have used all of us in making this happen. Thank you @kitbarraquias for the ultimate pangkabuhayqn showcase for tatay!!! Thank you to our dearest volunteers for all the help since day 1 and everyone else who helped one way or another!!
