Originally, this business started in the United States. The concept of the store began when owner Larmie Sears thought of creating her own personalized jewelry instead of buying from stores that sell the charm lockets at an expensive price. Then, Halo Halo Charms was born in May 2013. The name, as you can guess, was inspired by our traditional local dessert, which basically means, “mix mix.”
Just like how the Halo Halo dessert is mixed with different ingredients, Halo Halo Charms has a vast selection of zinc alloy and stainless steel charms to create a perfect representation of you. Their stainless steel floating lockets and chains are made of high quality jewelry grade stainless steel. As such, it is highly rust and tarnish resistant and is hypoallergenic to boot. Their large lockets can fit between 8-10 different charms depending on the charm size. To add more dazzle, you can even pick a dangle that will perfectly complement your creation.
At first, this business was just meant to be a way for Larmie to earn extra income for her family, but eventually she loved every bit about designing charms and putting other people’s stories together. For her first anniversary, she decided to launch Halo Halo Charms in her home country. With the help of her business partner and niece Jhoana Naval, it paved the way to reach their goal of giving our kababayans a chance to express their stories through charm lockets that were previously only available in the United States.

My Charms Necklace Story: I chose the rose gold locket and chain because it’s my favorite color. For the charms, the silver letter M is for my name; the peridot heart is my birthstone; the rainbow is a representation of my colourful life; the cursive love is for the reason why I live; the cake is for my sweet tooth; the music note is for my love for music; and the flower is for my inner girly girl. I added a key and lock dangle to represent that the whole jewelry unlocks my personality.
