You guys remember Goyle in the Harry Potter movies?
Well, he’s no longer one of the stubby underlings of Draco Malfoy. In fact, you might not even recognize him anymore!
Yup, he’s an MMA fighter now.
According to reports, Josh Herdman — the boy who played “Goyle” in all the Harry Potter movies — debuted in his MMA career with a win against Polish opponent Janusz Walachowski in Romford, London.
“It’s raw, exciting and unpredictable. I find it more interesting than boxing although I appreciate the beauty and art in boxing.
It also made sense to move onto MMA because of my jujitsu training.
” Herdman reportedly said
His love for sports shouldn’t come as a surprise, though. Since reports say that two of his brothers and his father have also competed on the professional boxing circuit.
But despite the career change, it doesn’t look like he’s giving up on acting
“I haven’t fallen out of love with it, I still have an agent and still go for auditions. It’s just a little bit like playing the lottery for a living,” he adds
Still hoping to see him on the big screen.
