Korean actress Go Soo Jung has passed away.
Most fans know Soo Jung from her debut in the hit Korean TV series ‘Goblin’ back in 2016, also starring Gong Yoo. She has also appeared in ‘Solomon’s Perjury’, as well as BTS’ music video ‘With Seoul’.
Her death was announced by her agency, Story J Company, earlier today. She died from a chronic illness, and a private funeral was held on February 9 for her family and friends. She reportedly died on February 7.
Soo Jung’s agency says she will always be remembered for her bright smile that lit up the world and they have asked her fans to wish her a safe passage.
Some netizens have been making false assumptions regarding her death, urging her fans to stop speculating so as not to cause her family even more grief. We hope that everyone respects her family’s privacy and that she rests in peace.
