LOOK: Score Cool Finds From DTI’s Go Lokal! Concept Store

Do you also love homegrown brands and all the amazing local products they offer?

If so, lucky you because the Department of Trade and Industry just launched Go Lokal! It is a concept store initiated by DTI in collaboration with selected retail partners which aims to provide an avenue for Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to introduce their products in the local consumer market.

“Go Lokal! carries everyday products preferably made from indigenous materials that undergo extensive product development assistance by Product Specialists from the Design Center of the Philippines to make them suitable for the retail, export and souvenir markets.”, DTI shared.

And so, if you’re on the look for high quality products, Go Lokal! is your best bet for new, never-been-seen and cool finds of all sorts. From wearables and textile-based accessories up to home decors, you’ll surely be impressed with the artistry that goes with all these items. Not to mention, most of them are still prototypes, order-based, and are waiting to be discovered.

Here’s a glimpse of the concept store. Photos are taken with permission from Ms. Rosario Tañada Liwanag.
