Actress Gladys Reyes, best known for her villain (“kontrabida”) roles in television soap operas, is offering fellow Filipinos an opportunity to hone their acting skills while in quarantine with her online acting workshop.

Gladys shared the announcement of her personal project on Instagram.
“Maraming nagtatanong sa akin, pano daw maging kontrabida na di kailangang maging masama sa totoong buhay para lang magampanan ng makatotohanan. Bata pa ko, eto na gusto ko.. umarte!”
She shared how she launched her movie career with Viva Films after winning runner-up in Little Miss Philippines in noontime show Eat Bulaga! in 1984. Some of her early films were Baby Tsina, Muling Buksan Ang Puso, and Nakagapos Na Puso.
Now, she wants to share all that she has learned in nearly four decades in the showbiz industry.
“Di ako magmamarunong, I just wanna share what I have learned in my 36 years in the business. Can’t wait na masabi mong ‘Moment ko ‘to,'” she said.
The acting workshop is open to anyone aged 13 to 40 years old, no matter where you are currently located in the world. It will be held via the video conferencing tool, Zoom. Details of how to join can be seen in the post below:
