Launched in 2021, Proclamation Gin celebrates the country’s national flower (officially declared on Proclamation No. 652 by General Frank Murphy in the year 1934), which is also symbolic of day-to-day life in the Philippines.

It represents purity, humility, and strength, which is strongly featured in the distillation process. The 12 botanicals used are sampaguita flowers, juniper berries, coriander seeds, angelica roots, orris roots, orange peels, lemon peels, liquorice roots, cassia barks, almond nuts, lemongrass—and toasted sticky rice—which is also the “aha!” for the surprise lingering finish.

Proclamation Gin was featured in Tatler Asia as one of the region’s most exciting gins for 2021 and was recently spotlighted in Conde Nast Traveler US as one of the “distinctly regional craft spirits” in Southeast Asia—the sole product from the Philippines.

The brand also had its first-ever launch in New York at the Peninsula Hotel’s Chalet de Ning, in partnership with Tim Yap of Yaparazzi events. Here, they also introduced the Limited Edition Art Box (only 100 pieces produced), designed and developed for the brand by Brazilian contemporary artist Cianne Xavier.

This special wooden box with distinct imagery on its sliding cover reveals three Filipino essences to enhance the Proclamation Gin experience, and video art that expresses nature and the call for humanity, which can be projected on any screening device while enjoying Proclamation Gin.

Proclamation Gin is priced at Php2,999 per bottle (700ml). The limited-edition art box (which also includes a bottle of Proclamation Gin) is priced Php17,500.
