Look! Case Study just unveiled the next limited edition, must-have sneaker: the K-Swiss and Ghostbusters villain duo. In celebration of the film’s 35th anniversary, K-Swiss takes a modern approach to the design of two archived models, Classic 2000 and Si-18 International.
Renowned sneaker customizer Alexander-John puts two of the most infamous villains from the original 1984 Ghostbusters – Slimer and Stay Puft Marshmallow Man – in the spotlight.
Slimer is brought to life on a Classic 2000 in Ectoplasm Green translucent PVC, animated with his infamous pink tongue on the insole, ready to “eat your soles.” The upper features a metal d-ring lace system and die-cut EVA sock liners finessed with the Ghostbusters logo. The outsole features a glow-in-the-dark translucent green rubber outsole to match the upper.
Stay Puft Marshmallow Man is designed in his original colorway – white, red and blue – for the Si-18 International. The shoe features a quilted puffed toe box and die-cut EVA sock liners with Stay Puft logos on the inside. The model sits atop a translucent rubber outsole, providing durable traction for everyday wear. There is a custom Stay Puft woven label on the tongue, embroidered “GB-84” for the year Ghostbusters released, and an exclusive K-Swiss x Ghostbusters lockup logo completes the commemorative embellishments.
