George R.R. Martin is Working on a New Video Game Called ‘Elden Rings’

It seems that the brain behind Game of Thrones still has a lot of tricks up his sleeve. He is mainly known for his books but there have been rumors that he is now trying his hand on video games and it was confirmed just a few days ago.

The American fantasy author is collaborating with a famous video game studio to create a new fantasy action game called Elden Rings. The game is set in a fantasy world created by Hidetaka Miyazaki, creator of Dark Souls.

The trailer of the video game was unveiled in E3 2019’s Microsoft Press Conference. You can watch the trailer below.

Based on the trailer, it seems that gamers will be transported to a dark and grim world. It didn’t reveal much about the story and the mechanics of the game but we know that the so-called Elden Ring was smashed years ago. As we marvel over its graphics, we could hear a deep and grim voice saying the following lines:

“I doubt you could even imagine it. That which commanded the skies, giving life its fullest brilliance. The Elden Ring. Shattered, by someone or something. Don’t tell me you don’t see it. Look up at the sky. It burns.”

Although Elden Rings doesn’t have an official release date yet, we know that it will be coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows PC. We can’t wait to get our hands on a copy of the game!
