The Junior Financial Executives – PUP Manila welcomes the new Academic Year through a general assembly with the theme of “Swerve: Art. Music. Fashion. Leadership” & “Rave: The Ultimate Coachella Festivity.” This will be attended by the 1500 members of the organization and it will be held at the Polytechnic University of the Philippines on September 2, 2017.
This will be a two-installment event. The first installment will be called SWERVE, a seminar-type program that will feature the showcasing the talent of sub organizations, recognition of Dean’s Listers, launching of the General Plan of Activities of JFINEX for the entire academic year. The second installment will be called RAVE; this will be a festival-type of party with loud music and different kind of booths. This event will be held to give the members a chance to take a break from their academic responsibilities and enjoy and relax for a while

The Junior Financial Executives – PUP Manila is a student-run organization known for its interactive academic and non-academic events for banking and finance students. With over 1500 active members, making it listed as one of the biggest JFINEX chapters in the Philippines. The organization intends to promote financial literacy to its members by upholding awareness about the field of banking and finance. With its initiative of molding its members to become successful finance professionals in the future. For the past years the organization has partnered with the biggest finance organization nationwide; the CFA Institute of the Philippines, FinEx –Philippines, the Junior Confederation of Finance Associations-Philippines (JCFAP) and the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) and it is known for holding different interactive academic and non–academic. In fact, last 2015, JFINEX-PUP was nominated as “Advocacy Group of the Year” in the 1st Angat Pilipinas Financial Literacy Awards, Winner of “Scholastic Award and Innovative Award” of JCFAP for its continuous support in promoting financial literacy to its members and to the community.
