Burger Company, Now A Gaming Library Branch!
Restaurants have become really creative in being really awesome in Manila nowadays. Lots of themed rests offer tempting discounts now and can be found everywhere. However, if you have some great friends with you, I still think that board game restaurants would be the best choice to give you the best time possible.
On my first visit last National Burger Day, my awe with Burger Company was very apparent. However, the launch of Gaming Library last June 21 made it even more amazing!
Upon seeing the news on their poster, I felt like I needed to pay a visit and I didn’t regret doing so one bit.

Thanks to Gaming Library, it is much more convenient for people in Quezon City to buy their board games unlike before when they had to go to San Juan or Makati to do so. Burger Company also has loads and loads of board games from Gaming Library free for everyone to try, which is especially great if you plan on buying some. Here’s a snapshot of my friend who didn’t even bother to settle down on a table first and went straight to the Gaming Library board games. Can’t blame him. 🙂
Though I didn’t get most of the games as quickly as the guy friends I brought with me, the experience was really something. We actually lost track of time and I was really surprised looking at my watch saying 9pm. Really, time flies when you’re having fun (or trying to get revenge on your next games). I think board game addiction is quite contagious and it’s around that time, 6pm onwards, when the place is always full of people playing their own favorites.
They even had the timeline game that night that you can join for free. I tried my shot and had a really lucky guess. Guess what the prize was! BACON DIPPERS! 🙂Â
MUST TRY ALERT!
Aside from the bacon dippers and the burgers I tried during my last visit, I also discovered that Burger Company has really yummy wings available. 14 pcs. came at a price of only P260 with an option to choose from three flavours. We tried all three. No regrets. All worth every cent. Nothing beats the feeling of munching on chicken wings with one hand while holding an action card, ready to destroy your opponent, on the other!
This NY Special is a classic, safe choice for those conservative taste buds. Generous sweet sauce.
Cocoa & Chili. Maybe it’s my love for spicy food but this one is really great. I tell you, you’ll be surprised on how many you’ll be able to eat.Â
Now this one is something else. This doesn’t usually happen but I actually forgot to take notice of its name because all my attention was on its cheesiness and those heavenly bacon pieces! I’ve never seen this in any other restaurants, so these wings themselves would already make your Burger Company visit worthwhile.
Another thing I just found out, Burger Company is pet-friendly. Look at this cute, little fellow enjoying with his master. So pet lovers, take note.Â
It’s not just the burgers, wings and the AMAZING BOARD GAMES, but just the whole ambiance of the place, in general. I’d say it’s not just your normal burger joint; it’s somewhere cozy you can regularly hang out in. I refuse to believe that any group of guys (or maybe even girls!) would not love it here. So, when looking for some place to chill with your barkada in the North, make sure to try this one out. 🙂
