Remember the infamous Fyre Festival that was supposed to happen in the Bahamian island of Great Exuma in 2017?
It’s set to be staged again, and this time it will be held on a private island in the Philippines. The confirmed performers are Childish Gambino, J. Cole, Sza, Dua Lipa, Khalid, 1975, Chvrches, and Diplo.
Ticket sales will officially open today, April 1, at 7AM.

Like the Fyre Festival that was shown in the documentaries Fyre and Fyre Fraud, Fyre Festival PH will feature private flights from NAIA, luxury villas, gourmet food, and water activities including paragliding, yachting, jetskiing, and more.
The Philippine event will be organized by the same people behind the original festival, which Ja Rule hinted at earlier this year. He said that he was planning a similar festival under a new name but it looks like he’s sticking to Fyre Fest!
According to a representative who spoke under the condition of anonymity, “Fyre Festival was the greatest party that never happened. The Philippines has the world’s best beaches and we’re a party-loving people, so the organizers were excited to hold it in one of the secret islands here.”
