We haven’t heard much from the Philippine Azkals lately, but their back and will be playing on their home turf against the Yemen this November for the FIFA World Cup 2018 Qualifiers!
After a painful 2-0 lose against Bahrain last month, the Azkals are thirsting for a wide win against Yemen to better their chances of getting into the third round of the world cup qualifiers.
Currently, the Azkals places third in group H with seven points, Uzbekistan stands on second place with nine points, and North Korea on top with 13 points.
If the Azkals win their match against Yemen, they still have a good chance to rise up to the second spot  in their last two games next year, giving them the chance to enter the third round as one of the four best runner-ups.
Last june, the Azkals beat Yemen, 2-0, in Doha, Qatar.
Only the top teams of all eight groups move to the third round, along with four of the best runner-up teams from all eight groups.
The Akals game starts at 8:00 pm local time on November 12.
