Fireside by Kettle: Comfort Food that Warms the Heart

The warm lighting brings about an ambiance of being by the fire, where food is sumptuous and off the grill. Friends and families gather around the table and share stories, eat together, making good memories as they waste the night away.

Sweet Corn Cappuccino, popcorn salt (Php 129)

Looks like coffee but tastes nothing like it. It’s corn soup served in a coffee mug – a nice warm soup for starters, I’d say.

Fireside Steak Salad (Php 469)

 

Char grilled US top blade steak, onion and zucchini strings to die for in balsamic dressing. My top choice for this post. It’s steak and it’s salad – a healthy but not too pretentious dish that has a taste that explodes in your mouth when put in altogether.

 Fireside Chorizo Burger (Php 399)

Homemade chorizo with cheese and egg. I’d say this would taste great with garlic rice! (Hoping this message would get to Chef Chiloy) It’s breakfast you can enjoy all day.

Homemade Smores (Php 139)

Yummy grahams made in Chef Chiloy’s kitchen, topped with smores and chocolate spread. You don’t even have to wait for the marshmallow to melt.

Coconut Checkered Cake (Php 259)

If you’ve tried Kettle’s checkered cake, this is a different version of it. Still made by Chef Chiloy’s mom, but a lot lighter and fluffier.

Not too sweet, either.

Sticky Banana Fig Pudding with Vanilla Ice Cream and Caramel Sauce (Php 129)

I’m not into bananas, but I am into this. Moist on the inside and blends well with the Vanila Ice Cream.

That’s 4 humongous doughnuts with 3 choices of sauce (salted caramel, chocolate and raspberry). I like the salted caramel the most and those squeeze bottles, too.

 

So, when looking for food that warms the heart, head on to Fireside.  Grab your seatmate, your colleague or your whole family and dine, share stories about your day at work, build good memories, while having home cooked meals.

P.S. Fireside’s food servings are meant for sharing, so don’t be a loner (unless you have an appetite that’s good for 3 people).
