Ahhhhh! We are almost there: the weekend I’ve been looking forward to every year ever since it started: AsiaPOP Comic Con time!!! This July 27 – 29, 2018, AsiaPOP Comic Con will be back at the SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia, and they’re starting things off with a blast!
Today, they announced two of the stars that will be coming to grace us with their awesome presence, both of which have starred in ‘Game of Thrones’ and are currently starring in ‘Iron Fist’:
Get ready for the Knight of the Flowers himself: Finn Jones! You might remember Finn as the undeniably handsome Ser Loras Tyrell in ‘Game of Thrones’, but he also plays the Immortal Iron First himself in Marvel’s Iron Fist, Luke Cage, and The Defenders.
Jessica Henwick is a familiar face, as well, as she has played a lot of well-known parts in the world of geekery: from the whip-wielding Nymeria Sand in ‘Game of Thrones’ to the X-Wing pilot Jessika Pava in ‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens’ to dojo master Colleen Wing in Marvel’s ‘Iron Fist’; this woman is a major bad-ass that I look up to (can I be like her, please?)
Aside from the presence of these two celebrities, there is so much more to look forward to at AsiaPOP Comic Con as there always is every year. Look forward to discovering a bunch of stuff in the world of comics, toys, games, cosplay and more. Make sure you don’t miss it! See you there?
