Are you ready for Fight Night?

FiliPINO comfort food, hearty booze, and all things ‘90s. Now, imagine all those ingredients mixed and mashed together for a night of unadulterated fun and excitement.

On October 18 at 7pm, PINO Resto Bar together with Don Papa Rum, will be hosting Fight Night – a game night and boodle fight rolled into one. In the name of all things great about the ‘90s, the last great decade gen Xers and nostalgia-stricken millenials are called out to come out for a one-of-a-kind food event that pays homage to the bygone era’s salad days. Either that or if you’re just looking to have a bit of fun on a Saturday night, then you are more than welcome to join in on the thrill.

 

Guessing Game

From music, fashion, and TV to computer games and the subcultures it gave birth to, the ‘90s was a definitive era marked by radical ideas and spirited revolutions. So better brush up on your ‘90s know-how as the game will revolve all around this unforgettable decade that connected us. The trivia questions will include ones about music, movies, songs, TV shows, toys, and fads.

 

Food War

Before the game starts, PINO will be serving a boodle fight style of serving food. In which the menu will include dishes like Kare-kareng bagnet and Seafood kare-kare, PINO chicken inasal and Bacon and cheese stuffed chicken breast, Binusog na pusit with kesong puti, Crispy shrimps with salted egg, Isol popcorn, Calamares negra, Red wine adobong tadyang, Bagnet spring rolls, chicharon bulaklak, and dessert favorites like Table cheesecake and Tsoko turon.

 

Woozy Up

What game night is ever complete without booze? To loosen everyone’s senses and have everyone turnt up. Don Papa Rum will be serving drinks all night to keep guests all woozed up.

To give a little trivia, Don Papa is a small batch rum developed locally by the Bleeding Heart Rum Company in the Philippines. Uniquely made from Negros Sugar Cane, the rum is distilled and aged in American oak for seven years in the foothills of Mount Kanlaon, on the island of Negros.

This isn’t your ordinary Saturday night shebang. A night like this don’t come by too often so come one come all to Fight Night and enjoy a night of trivia madness, great food, and even better company.

To join, your group must be consisted of at least, but not limited to, five members. Each group will have to pay a joining fee of P3, 000. The fee already covers food and drinks. No advance reservation is required but note that seats are on a first come, first served basis.

Fight Night is presented by PINO Resto Bar, Don Papa Rum, and the newest kid on the agency block, Jimmy Howard.
