We Know When the Third “Fantastic Beasts” Film is Coming Out

Fantastic Beasts

If you’re a Potterhead who’s already invested in the Fantastic Beasts film adaptation, we have great news for you: we already know when the third film of the Wizarding World saga is coming out.

According to reports, it will arrive in cinemas on November 12, 2021.

We don’t know a lot about the third film but reports say that production will begin in 2020. It will also be set in a new city, as director David Yates revealed earlier that each of the five films will be set in a different location. The first Fantastic Beasts was set in London while the sequel Crimes of Grindelwald was set in New York. There’s still no word on the title, cast, and location.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them starred Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Dan Fogler, Alison Sudol, and Colin Farrell. It was directed by David Yates, who directed the last four Harry Potter films. It premiered in November 2016 and was the first of a trilogy. It has become so successful that Rotten Tomatoes said, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them draws on Harry Potters rich mythology to deliver a spinoff that dazzles with franchise-building magic all its own.” It later went on to win an Academy Award for Best Costume Design.

Crimes of Grindelwald received a more lukewarm reception, with Rotten Tomatoes saying that it “has glimmers of the magic familiar to Harry Potter fans, but the story’s spell isn’t as strong as earlier installments.”
