Before the Playstation and all things app-related, there was the Family Computer. Who doesn’t remember playing Super Mario and that wicked Carnival game on this? You had to fight with your siblings on how to take turns with this.

Forget torrents, hell, forget DVDs — this was all you need for your Saturday afternoon programming. Parents owned an entire shelf of this dedicated to the FRIENDS seasons — or for the kids, that meant Sesame Street and Barney.

This generation will never know the beauty of mixtapes. Back in the day, we didn’t have Spotify or Apple Music — heck, we didn’t even have an iPod then.
