Enchong Dee Breaks Guinness World Record in Swimming Day with Kids

Enchong Dee just helped break the Guinness World Record for largest swimming lesson in a single venue!

The 30-year-old actor took part in the record-breaking event held at Aqua Planet waterpark in Clark, Pampanga where he, together with Bert Lozada Swim School, taught 1,819 kids basic swimming skills and water safety in just one day.

Their swimming lesson successfully beats the current titleholder, a waterpark in Florida, United States, where a recorded total of 1,308 participants joined on June 20, 2014.

This is the second year that Aqua Planet hosted this global initiative with the aim of educating people from all over the world that “Swimming Lessons Save Lives.” Kids who participated were children from orphanages, indigenous communities, and local government units, elementary students from public schools, and children with special needs.

According to Aqua Planet, they are still awaiting confirmation from the World Waterpark Association and Guinness World Records that they have indeed successfully broken the record.
