Ellen Adarna may be away from the limelight, but she’s been making headlines lately. A possible (?) wedding engagement, the demise of her father – while the #PAParazzi issue has died down, it has been reported that she was a no-show at the hearing of the said incident.

According to ABS-CBN news, the actress “failed to show up Monday at the first hearing for a child abuse and cybercrime complaint filed against her, in connection with a “paparazzi” incident in May where she publicly accused a minor, on social media, of taking photos of her at a restaurant without her permission.”

MJ Felipe, an entertainment journalist from ABS-CBN, also tweeted photos of the minor’s family at the Pasig City Office of the City Prosecutor. Adarna did not show up on that day.
Even after the mother of the affected minor made a public letter addressed to Adarna on Facebook to apologize for the actions she did to her daughter, Adarna has not said anything about the incident, nor the reacted towards the post.

It was also reported by ABS-CBN news that the family lawyer of the minor stated that “the hearing was reset to June 11 due to Adarna’s absence”.
“Santos family would just wait for the child abuse and cybercrime cases to take [their] due course,” said Atty. Arnold Labay to MJ Felipe.
