Young love team Edward Barber and Maymay Entrata have vowed to be part of the change as they officially register as voters in the next National and Local elections.
Actor-host Robi Domingo shared photos of the two paying a visit to the Comelec office on Instagram, writing, “Dati sila ang binoboto niyo sa PBB. Ngayon sila naman ang boboto para sa kinabukasan. Ikaw, nakapag-register ka na ba? #MayWardRegistersToVote #40MStrong #MasMaramiTayo.”
[Translation: “Previously, you voted for them in Pinoy Big Brother. Now, it’s their turn to vote for our future. How about you, have you registered already?”]
Edward likewise took to his own Instagram account to open up about how he is looking forward to exercising his right to vote in the May 2022 elections.
“Registered to vote,” he said. “Make sure you do too! Let’s change the course of our nation and write OUR OWN history. #WeTheYouth #40MStrong.”
Voter registration resumed on September 1 across the country, except for areas still under ECQ and MECQ. For those interested to register, you may check the procedure here.
