Edsa Shangri-La, Manila embarks on a voyage to a new beginning, as its iconic Chinese restaurant, Summer Palace that has captivated guests for 22 years will undergo a transformation beginning June and completing in September 2016 to create inspiring experiences for the next generation to cherish.

As the restaurant unfolds a new journey, guests are invited to revisit old memories in the revered restaurant for one last time, before it temporarily closes its doors after dinner on May 30 to open anew. “Summer Palace has been enjoyed by guests throughout the years, it has been part of their story, tradition and success for decades. By transforming our restaurant, we continue to be part of their story, by giving them something new to look forward to and meet their new needs.” said General Manager Amit Oberoi. During the renovation, Summer Palace will momentarily be relocated at The Marquee on the second level of the Tower Wing and continue to serve its famed dishes and celebrate special moments as it makes way for the reinvention of this classic.
