When I found out I was pregnant, I looked for eco-friendly alternatives for me and my baby. Many people know that having a baby can be a daunting task, and the products that they use up produce so much waste – diapers included.
On average, a baby uses 10 diapers a day. Those 10 diapers go directly to landfills! Most diapers in the market are not recyclable and are made out of plastic. Many moms have resorted to using cloth diapers instead, but it’s not really for everyone, especially if you have an on-the-go lifestyle.
Luckily, I stumbled upon Little Tree at Baby Company in SM Megamall. At first, I was attracted to the cute packaging and when I took a closer look, it said it was eco-friendly.
Before purchasing them, I made sure to do my research first. It turns out a lot of moms have already reviewed them. They claim that despite how thin the diapers are, they are highly absorbent and don’t leak even though their little ones are active.
Aside from the diapers, they also have other products that are great for your baby and even the whole family.
Of course, if you have diapers, you’ll need some baby wipes. We found some gentle wipes that are alcohol-free and thick enough so you’ll only need one piece per cleaning.
They also have bath foams, lotions and soothing creams, which are all gentle enough for babies (even newborns!).
What we use for the whole family are the dish and bottle cleansing foam and hand sanitizer. Since there are many diseases going around, we make sure that each family member sanitizes their hands. It’s awesome for kids because they love the foam that makes cleaning their hands more fun.
My brother and newborn baby both have sensitive skin. They usually get rashes or have red skin when we use detergents and fabric conditioners that are heavily scented. As such, the Little Tree Laundry Detergent and Laundry Soap helped us ease their skin condition.
