Dog Tales with CARA: A Night to Remember for Foodies, Bookworms and Animal Lovers
When in Manila, who says Mercato Centrale is only a destination for foodies? It is a haven for pet lovers and bookworms, too! CARA Welfare Philippines and a number of sponsor friends will turn this part of Bonifacio Global City into the best Saturday hangout place on November 30, 2013 through Dog Tales with CARA.
Dog Tales with CARA is set to offer a wide range of magazines and books as guests and onlookers are entertained throughout the night by renowned magicians of the Brotherhood of United Filipino Magicians (BUFM). Baked goodies and other treats great for both humans and pets will also be available from the early evening to midnight along with a fashion booth on-site.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will help fund CARA’s future rescue missions, spay/neuter and TNR (trap, neuter, and return) projects for dogs and cats, and continuing medical care for animals in CARA’s care.
The event will be made possible by friends in animal welfare advocacy, namely Mercato Centrale: media partners WheninManila.com and PinoyDogLover.com: the magicians’ group BUFM: fashionable shoe-makers Cooper & Morgan: baking experts The Cookie Rack Ph and Joanie’s Cupcakes: Italpinas, the Euroasian Design & Eco-development Corporation; and Ms. Franz Lasam, an active CARA volunteer. Other CARA volunteers will be there to answer  queries on adopting, fostering, or sponsoring rescued cats and dogs and your other possible channels of support to such a noble cause.
This is a night to remember so go ahead and mark your calendars! Bring your all family and friends – and of course, your pets! You wouldn’t believe how many cats and dogs will be so grateful for your presence, so make your Saturday a meaningful one. See you there!
