Girls’ Generation’s main dancer and rapper turned DJ, Kim Hyoyeon held an exclusive set in House Manila at the Hilton Hotel last February 8, 2020. It was the K-pop star’s third time in the Philippines. Her first visit was with Girls’ Generation last 2013 for the Dream K-Pop fantasy concert and the second time was her Badster Tour in Cebu last 2019.
A lot of time has passed, so it isn’t surprising that Hyoyeon has grown up as an artist since her debut. She isn’t just your SNSD member anymore. She showed her fans and Filipino party-goers a unique side to her that resulted in a night to remember.
Manila-based DJs, such as Nix Damn P!, Angelo G, Hannah Ichiko, and LOX also came out that night to perform, as well, giving everyone an awesome time with their own respective sounds and beats, perfectly pumping up the audience for the night’s main act.
A lot of Girls’ Generation fans also came out that night to show their dedication and support for Hyoyeon. These passionate fans even brought gifts and GG lightsticks, making the night feel like a mini Girls’ Generation concert and an EDM party all in one!Â
These fans also made new friends during the night, thanks to their shared love for Hyoyeon and Girls’ Generation.
Not only did DJ HYO introduce her sound, singles, and very own mixes of the latest pop songs of today, but she also brought a treat for Filipino SONEs present as she played special remixes of the group’s biggest hits such as PARTY, Gee, and The Boys. It was definitely a Girls’ Generation party with the GG lightsticks all lit up in the crowd!
James Reid and Nadine Lustre were also spotted in House Manila together and partied with DJ HYO’s exclusive set.Â
