Manila based Dj Arbie Won decided to go analog and goes back to basics with the release of his new single on the classic vinyl 7″ format. His first single “Trapper Keeper” which features Duster and Narda singer Katwo and rapper Analog MC did not go straight immediately to itunes but into a limited edition Colored & Black 7 inch Vinyl, complete with Artwork from local design house Electrolychee. “Being a collector myself, i was always fascinated with  the 7’inch format: it’s portability, the pressing and of course because its more fun to collect.” says Dj Arbie Won, who started to Dj in 1993 but didnt really caught the Vinyl collecting bug until 1995 when his Uncles took him to a day of going to different record stores and raiding  the crates for Vinyl. The 7’inch will be formally launched on April 12, at POST Cubao Expo during Kagatan 12, Manila’s quarterly Vinyl Swap Meet.

The single “Trapper Keeper” is the lead off track from his new album United Freestlyes 3 which is now out on another classic format , the CD.  The latest album, which took about 5 years to make features all new tracks and collaborations with Legit Misfitz,Sun Valley Crew, Miscelleneous, Beng Calma of Drip, BB Clan ,Thyro,Nathan J, Pikaso , D-Coy, Pamilia Dimagiba, Nyko Maca and a whole lot more.

Dj Arbie Won says of this next phase of the United Freestyles series,” this album was very special as it took years to make, exerting  all the right vibes ,and we’re really proud of what we’re able to create, and thankful to everyone who collaborated on this project. No financial stuff was discussed, just beats and rhymes, and of course to create something fresh for the listeners ,that has been always the United Freestyles gameplan”.  United Freestlyes 3 is executived produced in part by  Mosimmo Music and Music Colony. It  is now out on limited edition CD’s at Team Manila Stores in Trinoma, Rockwell, Mall of Asia, Robinsons Manila, and Market  Market The Fort.

Dj Arbie Won started Dj’ing during the Mobile Craze in the 90’s.He got into the music industry first as the Dj /Producer of the 90’s Rap group, Urban Flow and underground group Pamilia Dimagiba. The last United Freestyles album, Volume 2 went on to become the album of the year at the 1st Phil. Hiphop Awards and awarded him best music producer.
