Here’s Your First Look At Disneyland’s New Frozen-Themed Land

Disneyland Paris is currently working on a new Arendelle-themed area which is set to open in 2023. The tentatively-named ‘Frozen Land’ is meant to be a “fully immersive” experience, placing you in the heart of the story.

Concept art released by Disney shows the themed area to be a replica of Arendelle with the kingdom set behind a lake and snow-capped mountains in the far distance.

“Guests will see the snow-capped mountain of Arendelle in the distance opposite a magnificent lake, with an attraction that will take them to the center of the kingdom,” a Disney Parks blog post from 2019 explains. “The area will also include character encounters, a new restaurant and a shop securing a permanent presence of this beloved franchise at Disneyland Paris.”

Unofficial Disneyland Paris media @OutsidEars also posted what are supposed to be blueprints of the layout. They tweeted in French: “Known right now as ‘Frozen Land,’ the new land will be made up of a water attraction — similar to the one under construction at Hong Kong Disneyland — two shops, a restaurant and a place to meet the two queens of Arendelle.”
