MyHome Magazine 12 years anniversary celebrates with empowered women

When In Manila, skyscrapers amazed me with their multiple floors towering the skyline of the city. I am also attracted with these gated, private and big posh residential homes that made me think about the value, owner and designer. The sprawling community subdivisions also at the South  like Nuvali at Santa Rosa City, Laguna under Ayala Land or Portofino at Daang Hari, Alabang under Vista Land are the manifestation of visions and imaginations. The imagination of these designers and developers are implemented here with perfect planning,  grace and beauty.

For two decades I’ve been in a construction industry, it’s all about beauty, details and imagination. One, whether a professional engineer, architect or a common carpenter cannot build even a simple design without imagination. My dad, Mr. Josefino Bondad taught me and my two sisters to always do our best and be different, most of all, to be honest and to have integrity for every opportunity life will bring. He managed for 23 years his construction firm with determination and vision. According to him, if others can do it, we can do even more, even we are all girls in the family. In my
Asian Tropical Designs, I am making sure that everything is coordinated from the color palette of tiles, roof covers whether made of galvanized iron sheet, asphalt shingles or concrete tile.

I’ve been with so many technical employees; Architects, different kinds of engineers or any manpower involved in building infrastructures or designs. One thing is common; to build a concrete art for everyone to use, enjoy and that could instantly and eventually become a memorial of the designer. In order for us to get new designs and idea, we have magazines aside from the memories we had from traveling around the world and technical lessons and knowledge we gained from school.
