Experience a barrage of feels and emotions unlike any other this April with the Tayo Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon Soundtrack Launch at The Axon at the Green Sun hotel in Makati City on April 27, Saturday, at 6 PM.
The event will showcase bands and artists that are featured in the upcoming TBA Studios film Tayo Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon, the highly anticipated follow-up to director Nestor Abrogena’s indie romantic hit Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa.
Headlining the Tayo Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon Soundtrack Launch is indie pop/rock band December Avenue.
December Avenue is known for their infectious melodies and heart-wrenching lyrics with songs such as “Sa Ngalan ng Pag-ibig” and “Kahit ‘Di Mo Alam.” But it is their song “Kung ‘Di Rin Lang Ikaw” that shot them to unquestionable mainstream popularity. The song is easily one of 2018’s biggest OPM hits, with its music video amassing an unprecedented 117 million views on Youtube.
December Avenue will perform their hits at the Soundtrack Launch as well as their latest song “Huling Sandali,” Tayo Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon’s official theme song. This new track is an original song written and composed with the film’s story in mind.
Also to grace the stage at the Soundtrack Launch are Gabby Alipe and Elle Sebastian.
Gabby is known as the frontman of the popular rock band Urbandub and is currently performing as a solo artist. Meanwhile, Elle is an up and coming artist whose song “Panahon” was personally chosen by director Nestor Abrogena to be part of the movie via an online contest.
Other artists to perform at the Tayo Sa Huling Buwan Ng Taon Soundtrack Launch are indie bands Shirebound & Busking, Autotelic, and Munimuni.
Also set to set the stage ablaze is singer/rapper Quest, whose song “Walang Hanggan” was part of the OST of Ang Kwento Nating Dalawa.
The cast and director of Tayo Sa Huling Buwan ng Taon will also make an appearance.
