After months of wondering, fans can soon finally meet the new Valentina who will serve as Darna’s arch-nemesis in the upcoming television show!
ABS-CBN announced on Monday, November 15, that they will be revealing who’ll be taking on this big, snake-haired role this coming Friday, November 19. The teaser they posted featured a close-up of a snake’s body while hissing sounds can be heard in the background.

“Mars Ravelo’s Darna: The TV Series” also finally started filming this week at San Jose del Monte, Bulacan. The actors who have already been introduced to play roles in the show are Jane De Leon as Darna, Iza Calzado as the original Darna and Narda’s mother, Zaijan Jaranilla as Narda’s brother Ding, and Joshua Garcia as Narda’s romantic interest Brian.
Actresses who have portrayed Valentina in the past include Alessandra De Rossi, Iwa Moto, Pilita Corales, and Pilar Pilapil.
The series will be helmed by Chito S. Roño and Avel Sunpongco.
